my name is Jane and I am the Milliner for The Hat House. I have a Concesssion within Promesse at 54 Friar Street.. Whilst you have a look at some of my hats I just wanted to give you a little bit of information about what I can offer you. All of my hats are handmade, the ones you see here are just a taster of some my designs. Most of my work is bespoke so it's best to arrange a consultation at a time to suit; evening and weekend appointments are available.
During this consultation the fun begins we experiment with shapes, colours, materials, discovering what compliments your outfit, your role and the occasion not to mention the personality of the wearer. As we are making everything on an individual basis anything is possible from large flamboyant to the most modest fascinator.
Sometimes I am able to offer a Bespoke Hire service, this means we do all of the above creating a hat to your specifications, colour, size etc, however you are then able to hire it from me for 60% of the purchase price. At Promesse I have a collection of hats which are available for hire or purchase, they are also a great starting point to finding which styles and designs may work for you..
